John Beam died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Warren at St. John Macomb Hospital at the age of 70. He was born in North Carolina July 21,1938 to William and Essie Beam (nee: Bennett). Mr. Beam loved to hunt, fish, play golf and go to the casinos. Mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Beam worked at Ford Motor Company and retired in December of 1999. He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee: Tomlinson). Dear father of John (Lorie), Jim (Vicki), and Nancy (Jon) Hoppe. Brother of Pauline Engle, Juanita Rice, Bob Beam, and Jim Beam. Loving grandfather of Jessica, J.J., Magan, Lydia, Laura, Nick, Dalton, Katie, and Brett. Great grandfather of Trevor. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:00 am. at the funeral home with Pastor Fredrick Plastow and Pastor Tom Hoppe officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-9 pm.
