John Michael Hennessey, 87, of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Born July 23, 1934 in Dayton,OH he was a son of the late Patrick and Elizabeth Hennessey. John graduated from Chaminade High School in 1953, the University of Dayton in Engineering, and in 1973 received his Master of Science degree in engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. He honorably served in the U.S. Army and was discharged December 20, 1957. On June 23, 1962 he married Carolyn Greve, who passed away in 2011. The majority of his career was at TACOM in Warren, MI. John is survived by his children, Patrick (Pamela) and Karen; grandchildren, Erin and Colleen; great grandchild, Indra; and brother, Tim (Judy). He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI on Sat., Dec. 2, 2021. Please share a memory with the family at www.temrowski.com
