

Josephine C. Kaczmarek, age 87 of Warren, died Monday, May 15, 2006 at her home. Josephine was born March 19, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Stuss. Mrs. Kaczmarek was raised in Detroit and then moved to Lathrup Village with her husband where she would spend most of her adult life until moving to Warren in 1996. Even though Josephine lived in Lathrup Village she still kept her roots to the east side. She continued to shop on the east side and even get her hair done in Hamtramck. She was a longtime devout member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and a member of the Madonna Guild. She traveled extensively with her friend Kay and members of the Madonna Guild. She has been to Hawaii, Europe, and many of the United States. Josephine also loved Bingo and spending time with family. Also her son in-law will remember all the great Polish meals Josephine would prepare. Mrs. Kaczmarek is survived by her loving daughter Donna (Dan) Favreau, her granddaughter Jamie Favreau. She is also the dear sister of Ann Fecko, and Stella Pittel. Mrs. Kaczmarek was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley, her son Dennis Kaczmarek, and her siblings, late Bernice Okrey, Chester Stuss, and Thomas Stuss. Visitation for Josephine will be Thursday from 5-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile). There will also be a Rosary Service Thursday at 6 pm. Funeral services will begin Friday with Mrs. Kaczmarek lying in state 9:30 am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Celebrating the Funeral will be Rev. Fr. Gary Schulte. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Please share memories at Josephine's guest book.
