A proud apprentice of Sheet Metal Workers Local 80, Josh was known for his strong work ethic, big heart, and deep love for his family.
Josh graduated from Richmond High School in 2006 and he found purpose and pride in his hands-on work, most recently as an apprentice in the sheet metal trade—a path he pursued with passion and determination.
Outside of work, Josh lived for the simple joys that made life meaningful to him. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished his time up north at Rush Lake. He loved fishing from his kayak and deer hunting each season. These quiet moments in nature were where he found peace.
Josh shared a close and playful bond with his younger nieces and nephews, always making time for games, laughter, and gentle guidance. He enjoyed long hours of video games with his brother and took pride in working on his Jeep with his stepfather, Bill—a project that became a special tradition between them. Joshua had a deep love for cooking, often bringing joy to family and friends with his delicious meals and creative recipes.
Above all, Josh’s life was defined by the love he had for his family. His warmth, humor, and loyalty will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joshua is survived by his mother Pamela Assemany, step father Bill Assemany, and father Wayne Pinch. His siblings Jonathan (Cary) Pinch, Lara (Stephen) Fornal, Jessie Pinch, step sister Brenna Presnall and step brother Joe Convery. His aunts Kim (Joe) Beitelbeck, Lisa Morrison, Susan (Bob) Hertel, Cindy (Teri) Assemany, Linda Born, and uncle Michael Assemany. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents, step brother Jonathan Assemany, and aunt Sharon (Mike) Poggi.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
