June E. Thrift, age 88, of Sterling Heights died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. June was born September 7, 1920 in Detroit the daughter of the late Lawrence and the late Julia (nee: Doba) Lawrence. She is survived by her children, Gary (Mary) and Layne (JC) Thrift; grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer, and Holly. She is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence. A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Thrift Tuesday 10:30 am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road).
