

Karen E. Gross (April 11, 1982 January 4, 2009) Karen E. Gross, age 26, of Mt. Clemens, died suddenly and was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at her home. Karen will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered by her husband Daniel and his family. Karen was born April 11, 1982 in Detroit, the daughter of John Sedlak and Michelle (nee:Milo) Sedlak. She attended Lincoln High School in Warren and graduated in 2000. She attended Michigan Technological University for four years and then graduated from the University of North Carolina. She was a passionate high school math teacher, loved the outdoors, and lived life every day to the fullest. An avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and marathon runner, Karen was truly an explorer, and always seeking and learning new things. Friends and family of Karen will remember her for her constant smile, persistent optimism, and her innate desire to help others and better their lives. She was a loyal friend to those who knew her. Karen expressed a deep love for the friends and family in her life. Karen is survived by her husband, Daniel; her parents, John and Michelle Sedlak; her siblings, Michelle, Jean, Susan, Victor, James, Eric, Joe, Mike, and Chris;Daughter-in-law of Daniel and Kimberly Gross and sister-in-laws, Stephanie, and Alicia (Christopher) Frank. She was also survived by many other family members and loving friends. Visitation for Karen will be Wednesday 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile Road). A Funeral Service will be held Thursday 11 am at Community Baptist Church, 1042 E. 12 Mile Road in Madison Heights.
