Kathryn Oswald, 87, of Blairsville, Georgia, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville. She is a former resident of Michigan. Mrs. Oswald was born January 5, 1918 in Fennville, Michigan to William and Kathryn McCormick. Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband Christian A. Oswald and sister Mary Jane Ozbun. She is survived by daughters Rita A. Miller, of Blairsville, GA, Mary A. McGillis, of Phoenix, Ar; sons Christian J. Oswald, of Charlotte, NC, Lawrence E. Oswald, of Phoenix, AR, and Alexander C. Oswald, of Ann Arbor, MI; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service for Kathryn will be held Saturday, May 21, 2005 at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, Warren. There will be an instate period from 9:00 am until time of mass at 9:30 am.
