Leo Arini

Leo Arini, age 74, of Warren, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital-Macomb Center. Leo was born February 16, 1934 in Detroit the son of the late Carlo and the late Vita (nee: Zizzo) Arini. He retired from General Motors as a Trim Engineer after working there for more than 25 years. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, he was proud of his 185 bowling average. Leo is survived by his children, Darrell (Anna), Linda (Nick) Nixon, Donna, and David (Lisa); grandchildren, Lisa Marie Pepperman, Nikolas, T.J., Angela Markos, Christopher Nixon, Jason Nixon, and Heather Nixon; sibilings, Bennie, Dan, and Lena; and his loving companion, Hayley. Hs is predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Margaret. Visitation for Mr. Arini will be held Monday 3-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:30 am at St. Louise Catholic Church. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Msgr. Thomas Rice. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
