Born in Detroit to the late Frank and Violet Lerchenfeldt, Loretta could usually be found in her garden, which was always in full bloom with flowers of all kind, feeding the flock of squirrels that knew to stop by her house for the best peanuts. Because of her caring nature, Loretta also had a number of dogs throughout her life and was always interested in learning about other animals, especially owls. No matter what Saturday night was date night with her husband, the late Frederick Sr., and they would drive around town to local spots or to watch the changing seasons as they drove down the bending roads. A beloved wife, “ma”, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and sister, Loretta will be missed dearly.
