

Margaret "Peggy" Ann Kelty, age 86, of Washington Township, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Peggy was born on January 8, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents Marvin and Margaret Grieshaber.
Above all, Peggy cherished spending time with her family the most. She loved playing dice and card games, and it was almost a guarantee that she was going to come away with a win. Throughout the years, Peggy had a plethora of activities she enjoyed, including bowling, traveling the world and trips to the casino with her husband, Gene, and attending her grandchildren’s academic and athletic activities. The memories we have all made with her will live on in our minds and hearts forever, and the impact of her love is truly everlasting.
Peggy was the beloved wife of Eugene "Gene" Kelty. Loving mother of Eugene (Lorraine) Kelty, Christopher (Barbara) Kelty, Michael (Terrie) Kelty, and Mary (Matthew) Tomaszewski. Cherished grandmother of James Kelty, Kevin (Alayna) Kelty, Christopher (Megan) Kelty, Lauren (Tyler) Argall, Michael (Lily) Kelty, Matthew (Veronica) Kelty, Andrew Kelty, Max Tomaszewski, and Mya Tomaszewski. Adored great-grandmother of Louie Kelty, Kelty Argall, Ellis Kelty, Penelope Argall, and Tatum Kelty. Dear sister of Lou (Cathy) Grieshaber, the late Marvin (the late Alice) Grieshaber, the late Michael (the late Mary) Grieshaber, the late Mary Clare Smith, the late Madonna (the late John) Gray, the late Madelyn Harris, and the late Marc (the late Judy) Grieshaber.
A Memorial Visitation for Peggy will be held on Thursday, December 14th from 3-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common Road (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren, MI. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 15th at 10:30am with a gathering time beforehand at 9:30am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Rd, Warren, MI.
