Margie Marie Brady

Margie M. Brady, age 76 of Warren, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1937 in Switchback, West Virginia, daughter of the late Gilmer Louis and the late Emma Jane (nee: Huffman) Dale.An adoring wife to her doting husband, Margie was blessed to share many wonderful years of marriage to the man who swept her off her feet, her beloved Earl. Together, they nurtured the warmth of home & hearth, raised a family, and grew deeper in love with each passing day. Margie was the consummate caregiver, especially when it came to her groom,…which was never more realized than when she decided to retire from her job to be by his side as they walked, together, through his illness. Prior to that, Margie's was the smiling face that thousands of patrons enjoyed through her job as a waitress at Detroit's Renaissance Center.When she wasn't working, one of Margie's favorite pastimes was playing the game of poker. Nothing said "fun" more than a group of family or friends, sitting around the table, vying for a piece of the pot. And Go Figure,…most often it was Margie coming out on top. She was also one of the greatest supporters and fans of our boys in Blue & Orange, the Detroit Tigers. It didn't matter whether they won or lost, her devotion was solid and true. Yet without question, her greatest passion in life was centered around her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They weren't merely the "apple of her eye"…they were the entire fruit basket! Spending time with them brought her immense joy, and each moment creating memories together was a blessing beyond words. No matter the kind of day she was having, their presence made a wonderful difference. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Margie leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be a beacon towards revisiting the warm and beautiful memories that she was a part of creating. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.Margie was the beloved wife of the late Earl. Dear mother of Daniel (Nina) Brady, Earl (Linda) Brady, and Valerie (Jared) Siemen. Loving grandmother of Gwendolyn (Brian) Sounart, William, Kelsey (Brandon) Rice, Joshua, Brandi, Chloe, Brady, the late Joseph, the late Jilian, the late Alan Michael, and great-grandmother of Julianne, Charlotte and Spencer. Visitation for Mrs. Brady will be held on Wednesday, August 21st from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. Her Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Memorial Gardens, 17840 Middlebelt Road in Livonia, Michigan.Please share memories of Margie at her memory book.
