Maria Parafin, 75, of Shelby Township died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She is survived by her husband Chester; children Peter (Sandra), Karen (Harold) Barth, Kristie (Mike) Schulz, Cary (Lynnette) and Janie (Lynn) Gertsch; and grandchildren Stephen, Terri, Dawn, Michelle, Eric, Natalie, Nicholas, Montana, Sierra and Melissa. Services for Mrs. Parafin will take place Thursday, September 23 at St. Therese Lisieux, 48115 Schoenherr, Shelby Township. She will be in state at the church at 9:30 am with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-9 pm and Wednesday 1-9pm with a rosary in the evening at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 1/2 Mile), Warren.
