

Marie A. Booth of Warren died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her home in Warren, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 17, 1924 in Harbor Beach, Michigan the daughter of the late Michael Gusa and the late Josephine (nee: Genter) Gusa.Marie and her best friend, Kenneth, were married in 1949 in Helena, Michigan. They moved to Detroit and then settled in Warren and have been residents for over 50+ years. Marie and Kenneth became members of St. Dorothy Catholic Church in Warren in the early 1960's. Mrs. Booth was employed at a factory for several years where she became known as 'Rosie the Riveter'.She enjoyed going out for dinner and playing bingo. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Life was always grand when the family got together for the holidays and many other occasions.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, her children, Ron (Linda), Greg (Sandy), Mark (Carolyn), Mary (Rick) Anderson, and Lori (Jeff) Elvy. She is also survived by her 10 loving grandchildren, her 3 great grandchildren, and her sisters Stella Lentz and Annie Klee.Visitation for Marie will be held Sunday 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 ' mile). She will lie in state on Monday at 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Teresa of Avila the St. Dorothy Campus.Please share your memories of Marie at her guestbook.
