Mark A. Makarewicz

Mark A. Makarewicz, 41 of Warren died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Martha T. Berry Hospital in Mt. Clemens. He was born January 25, 1966 in Detroit. Mark grew up in Warren, attending Warren Woods High School. He was employed at Prestige Stamping as a maintenance electrician. Mark enjoyed art, including mostly music and painting. He was able to play the guitar by ear and loved to paint watercolors with his mother, Dianne. Boating and water sports were other hobbies of Mark, along with collecting bears and building control panel cabinets for work. He also had a great love of animals. Mark is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Kimberle; parents Paul and Dianne; siblings, Colleen (Steve) Elward and Jeff (Mary Kay); grandmother, Virginia; nephew, Justin; and nieces, Laura and Jessica. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Leo Makarewicz and Merell and Eleanor Gilginas. Visitation for Mark will be Saturday 5-9 pm and Sunday 2-9 pm with an evening rosary, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). He will be in state Monday 10:00 am with a 10:30 am funeral Mass at St. Edmund Catholic Church. The service will be officiated by Fr. Robert Witkowski.
