Michele grew up in Clarkston and was a proud graduate of Clarkston High School. She went on to earn her master’s degree from the University of Michigan, an accomplishment she held with great pride.
Michele dedicated her professional life to caring for others. She worked for many years as a child and family therapist and later as a case manager until her retirement. Her compassion was evident in all she did, and she approached her work with deep empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help those in need.
On June 3, 2017, Michele married the love of her life, Deborah Kline, beginning a chapter filled with devotion, partnership, and joy. Michele lived a life defined by gentleness and kindness. She loved her family fiercely, especially her niece, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, to whom she was a constant source of love and guidance and was often considered a second mother. Her presence was steady, nurturing, and full of warmth.
A devoted member of Unity of Royal Oak, Michele found joy and community through her faith and shared her beautiful voice as a member of the church choir. Michele will be remembered for the sparkle in her eye, her big, welcoming smile, and the quiet but powerful way she made others feel seen and loved. Her legacy of compassion and grace lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Michele was the beloved spouse of Deborah Kline. Loving sister of James (Susan) Navarre III, Yvonne (Mike) Ziegler, and Michael (Vicki) Navarre. Cherished aunt of Sara, James (Renee), Casey, Dustin (Kelly), John (Shawnee), Michael Jr. (Maggie), Alexander, and great-aunt of Gabriella, Genevieve, August, Lucy, Malachi, and Delphia.
A Memorial Service for Michele will be held at Unity of Royal Oak with a date and time to be determined. Please check back for updates.
