
Millie W. Watts, 88, a 45-year resident of Warren, formerly of Center Line, died Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Autumn Woods Nursing Home, Warren. She was born in 1919 in New York. Mrs. Watts worked as a stenographer in New York in the 1940s. She loved reading and playing cards with her family. They said she was a UNO champ. She loved swimming, traveling, animals, especially her dogs and enjoyed gardening. She was a former member of the Center Line Garden Club. She also loved to sing and dance and aspired to be on Broadway and mostly loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Hal (Kay) Watts; grandchildren, Janice (Paul) Naz, Teri (Michael) Pagano and Mark Watts; great-grandchildren, Scott, Jeffrey, Katrina, Alysia, Sal Mike and Crystal and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husbands, Henry Woodward who died in World War II and Maurice Watts; three brothers and two sisters. Visitation for Millie is Tuesday 3-9 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church, 32400 Hoover Road, Warren. Additional visitation is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
