Phia Yang, age 25 of Warren, died Friday, June 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born on May 26, 1989 in Fresno, California, son of Shoua (nee; Lor) and the late Seng Yang.A student by day and a waiter at night, Phia will be remembered for the tenacious personality he possessed,...being both head-strong and determined in most everything he did. On those occasions when he managed to find a little free time, you'd often find Phia working on his pet project of restoring and rejuvenating his treasured 2001 Toyota Celica. He loved that car, and loved working on it with every chance he was given. It was destined to be a show piece, and an extension of its proud owner.Another of Phia's passions was shared in playing video games with his precious niece's, Emma and Ava. He was the consummate uncle, always doting on his two favorite girls and doing everything he could to create warm and wonderful memories together with them. But whether with his nieces, other family members or friends, each reflection of Phia will easily be accompanied by the memories of his happy and vibrant spirit, always joking around and bringing joy into the lives of others. A life gone far too soon from our presence, still,...in its brief interlude, Phia's life rings true with a song of love that speaks more to the quality of what he offered as opposed to the quantity of what we were afforded. His absence leaves a chasm that memories of his love & care will fill over time. For now, it's simply about following his lead by reaching out,...lovin' on each other,...jokin' around a bit,...and being strong. He touched a multitude of hearts & souls in his brief journey through life, and leaves a storehouse of wonderful memories for those to share who were blessed to know him. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally.Phia was the beloved son of Shoua and the late Seng. Dear brother of Kia, Yia, Maimee (Michael) Kulaga, Maisee, and Pao. Loving uncle of Emma and Ava. Arrangements were entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. Please share memories of Phia at his memory book.
