

Polly was born on November 2, 1928, in her childhood home on the farm in rural Jackson County, Tennessee, to her parents Joe and Lizzie Phillips.
Polly was very crafty, working as a seamstress with Chrysler for many years. She enjoyed tending to her garden where she would often grow fresh tomatoes and green beans. She was also famous for her banana pudding, which was a favorite amongst family and friends. Polly loved a good conversation, talking on the phone at length and checking in or going to lunch with her cousins. Family and friends were paramount to Polly, and she cherished her time with them.
Polly is survived by her children Bobby (Linda) Wiley and Douglas (Helen) Wiley, grandchildren Billy Wiley, Kimberly Adamski, Amy (Paul) Giannosa, Adam Wiley and DJ (Ashley) Wiley, great grandchildren Larry, Tanisha, Shane, Leah, Brody, Lukas and Liam, sister Lyda Ledbetter and sister in law Beverly Phillips. She is also survived by many great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased in passing by her brother Jerry Phillips, brother in law Tom Ledbetter and grandson in law Robert Adamski.
Friends may visit the AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Saturday, January 27 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a funeral service taking place at 7:00 P.M.
