

On May 4th, 2012 God told Ralph that was his moving day and that his earthly journey has been completed. Ralph died at his home in Warren surrounded by his loving family.Ralph Leutzinger was born December 15, 1937 in Moddersville Michigan the son of the late Rudolph and Lela (nee: Pearson) Leutzinger. Ralph was raised in Moddersville where he attended Merritt High School before moving from the area. Following his schooling he served his country in the United States Army at Fort Hood, Texas. Ralph was assigned to the 1st Armored Division Headquarters 16th and 4th U.S. Army Engineering Battalion as a radio teletype operator. Following his four-year military obligation Ralph returned to Michigan.Mr. Leutzinger and his new wife settled in the city of Warren, where Ralph worked for many years in the city's Engineering Department as a construction inspector before retiring.Mr. Leutzinger's many pleasures in life included attending his family members sporting events and the annual deer hunting trips up north to hunt with family and friends. His passion in life was the love he held for his previously deceased wife, his sons and their wives, and especially his grandchildren.Ralph was the beloved husband of over 46 years to the late Betty Marie Leutzinger, and is the dear father of Dean (Sigrid), Darcy (Jennifer), and Dustin (Julie). He is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren; James, John, Mackenzie, Andrew, Kevin, Michael, Steven, and Kimberly. Mr. Leutzinger is further survived by his brother Rudy (Donna) Leutzinger, and many wonderful family members and treasured friends. Visitation for Mr. Leutzinger will be Monday from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday in Northern Michigan at the Moddersville Reformed Church, 7310 East Finkle Rd. Falmouth MI 49632. The family will receive guests at 1pm with Funeral Services at 2pm. Officiating the Funeral Services will be Rev. D. Pete Youngs. Interment will follow at the Moddersville Cemetery. Memorial donations, in Ralph's name are appreciated to the Moddersville Reformed Church, 7310 East Finkle Rd. Falmouth MI 49632.
