Richard R. Laraway, 69, of Warren died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Henry Ford Bi County Hospital in Warren. He was born December 16, 1938 in Detroit, Mi son of Raymond and Lily (nee: Walker) Laraway. Richard worked at Ring Screw Works as a Tool & Die Maker. He enjoyed camping, watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings, and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his wife of 48 years, Caroline; daughters, Lori, Sharon, Michele, and Susan; brothers, John (Linda) Laraway and James (Carla) Laraway; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; 7 nieces and nephews; and his loving companions, Gizmo and Barry. Visitation will be held Tuesday 2-9 pm with a 7 pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile). He will lie in state Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Leonard Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Celebrating the funeral liturgy will be Fr. Mike Gawlowski.
