Robert John Cencek, age 77, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Robert was born January 23, 1945, in Hamtramck, Michigan and graduated from Wilber Wright High School in Detroit. He then went to on to work as a Quality Inspector for General Dynamics. Robert was married to the love of his life, Patricia, for 54 years. He enjoyed golfing and traveling and going to their cottage they built on Joslin Lake. Robert will forever be missed by his loving family and friends.
Robert was the beloved husband of Patricia for 54 years. Dear brother of the late Lottie Stefaniak and Irene Les. Loving uncle of Susan Ristau, Karen Kruczynski, Mark Stefaniak, Mark Diksas, and Alex Diksas. He is also survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, May 26th from 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI. He will lie in state on Friday from 10:30am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert's name are appreciate to either the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, the American Heart Association, or your favorite charity.
