

Robert Cruice age 88 of Warren and formerly of Gladwin died at his home February 20, 2011. Robert was born November 12, 1922 in Detroit Michigan, the son of the late Edward and Cora (nee: Maxwell) Cruice. Robert was raised in Detroit and served his country with the United States Army during World War II, having attained the rank of Corporal. After returning from his military service Robert went to work at several local tool shops before joining Chrysler Motors. Robert would eventually spend the next 37 years working for Chrysler Motors as a tool maker and engineer. When Robert was not working he was the consistent tinkerer and woodcrafter, he loved his power tools. He also enjoyed staying on the move; in his earlier years he golfed and bowled, but putzing around the house and yard were his favorite duties. Following retirement Robert and his beloved wife retired to the Gladwin area where the two would spend the next 25 years. While in Gladwin the Cruices enjoyed their family and many dear friends. Mr. Cruice is survived by his loving wife Helen (nee: Rossman) and his dear children, Kathleen (Ron) Griswold, Carleen (Robert) Britton, Robert (Pamela) Cruice, and Susan DiGiovanni (Randy Apczynski). He is also survived by 7 wonderful grandchildren, and 1 Great-grandchild. A Memorial visitation for Mr. Cruice will be held Saturday April 16th, 2011 from 11am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1pm. Service will be conducted at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile).
