Ruth Elaine Williams

October 28, 1943 - July 23, 2023

Ruth Elaine Williams (Clark) was born October 28, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Melvin and Viola Clark. A longtime resident of Sterling Heights, she was very active in her church, participated in the Senior Citizen’s activities with friends, enjoyed taking cruises and traveling to the family cabin in Baldwin, Michigan. She enjoyed crafts like ceramics, crocheting and quilting, the family has many pieces of her work. Ruth entered into rest on July 23, 2023 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Franklin Sr. She will be dearly missed by her children Franklin Jr. (Lisa), Rebecca (Jerry) Meyer, and Paul (Kari). She was extremely proud of her grandchildren Sean, Alyson, Kyle, Reid, Gabriel, Jessica, Erik and Zane, and step-grandchildren Adam, Andrew and Sean. She is survived by her brother Tim (Sherian), sister-in-law Marsha Wolf, nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held for Ruth on Monday, July 31, 2023 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd at Masonic (13 Mile) in Warren. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Please share a memory in our guest book.
