Beloved mother of Max (Kelly) Stone and the late Heather Hobbs, stepmother to Dee Dee O’Connor. Affectionately known as “Crazy Grandma” to her 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was the dear sister of Sue Stone-Lucero and Todd Stone, and is now reunited with her late siblings Randy Stone, Kim Stone, Sharon Stone, and Butch Stone. Sandy also leaves behind many other cherished family members and longtime neighborhood friends who will miss her dearly.
Sandy loved nothing more than relaxing on her porch with a cold beer, surrounded by the people she loved most. She had a laugh that filled the room, especially when she was laughing at her own jokes. She found joy in card games, cooking, and caring for her family. Her meals, her stories, and her fierce love will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a veteran’s organization of your choice.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at a later date.
