Tanya Marie Gnaster, age 35 of Roseville, died suddenly on February 22, 2013. She was born August 11, 1977 in Southfield, Michigan to Diane Ardelan. She was raised in St. Clair Shores and a graduate of South Lake High School. On New Year's Eve of 2002, she attended one of her friend's parties and as they were all playing a game called "Head of the Class" little did she know that one of her competitors was going to be her lifelong partner in the end. On April 18, 2004, Tanya married the love of her life. As Tanya walked down the aisle at The Little Wedding Chapel in Warren that day her life was instantly changed by her true love Jeffery. Her husband was her true blessing in life,..the one who "saved" her and gave her the love she so much deserved. When she was able to secure a little time of solitude, Tanya often enjoyed the simple pleasure of curling up with her ipad. She loved to listen to her music and expand her mind & imagination through the many pieces in her music collection. She was also quite fond of painting her nails and trying new ways on applying her make-up. Tanya was also quite fond of traveling. She and Jeff took many trips to Niagara Falls, Frankenmuth, and Pokagon State Park in Indiana. She also loved Hello Kitty, Yankee candles and her T.V. shows. Often times you could catch Tanya wrapped up in her blanket watching her favorite T.V. shows like Sex in the City, Golden Girls, and American Idol but only when it go down to the final 24, because that made it more interesting. As she watched her shows she had four little buddies that like to cuddle with her,...Bubby, Lola, Shyla and Spikey her cats. She was the proud Momma to those babies and everyone knew it. Though she is gone from this life, Tanya's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were blessed to know her. She was the Life of the party on this side on Heaven,...and you can bet that she's on the other side now, planning another one for when we all meet again. She was the beloved wife of Jeff. The dear daughter of Diane Ardelan. And the daughter-in-law of Angeline (the late Stanley) Gnaster. She was the loving granddaughter of Robert and Virginia Silva. Sister of Raymond, and Robert Ardelan. Sister-in-law of Ken (the late Frances) Gnaster, Pam Gnaster, and Michelle (Bryan) Allmacher. Caring aunt to Dan and Lauren. Goddaughter of Joseph (Denise) Silva, and Mary Margaret Silva. Niece of Tony (Lynn) Silva, Kim (David) Skrip, and Theresa (Mark) Maynard. Devoted Momma to her cats Bubby, Lola, Shyla, and Spikey.
