Thomas Gary Topski

Thomas Gary Topski, age 72 of Warren, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit. He was born August 20, 1946 in Detroit, son of the late William and the late Tanka (nee: Chatzka) Topski.Born and raised in Detroit, the family's eventual relocation to the bedroom community of Warren would set the stage for Tom's attendance and ultimate graduation from Fitzgerald High School, an experience and life event he was blessed to share with 9 of his closest friends, a "Band of Buddies" that formed a bond together that has kept them close throughout their entire lives. Tom is the 3rd of the 10 who have ascended to Heaven and await their next Class Reunion on high.A tool & die maker by trade, Tom took great pride in his work and exuded an extreme sense of expertise in machining a quality product through his skills and knowledge. Initially employed by the automotive giant, the Ford Motor Company, Tom eventually sought to change things up and transferred his skills to the Gordon & Sons Industrial Company in Warren. That is where Tom finally accepted his well-deserved retirement and began his journey in life as a Golden Warrior. A loving "husband" & companion, father, grandfather and friend, Tom leaves behind a host of beautiful and wonderful memories for all to embrace who were blessed to know and love him. He touched a multitude of hearts and souls in his journey through this life, and now goes on to his reward in Heaven. May he rest in peace.Tom was the loving companion, for over 20 years, to Cindy Huskey. Dear father of Tommy Topski, Cheryel Topski, Jason Topski, Gene (Eleonora) Huskey, Holly (Jay) Ritchie, and Greg (Allison) Huskey. Cherished Grandpa of Gino, Alexandria, Maxx, Payton, Ruthie, Lillian, and Hadley. Also survived by brother Bill (Pat) Topski, and nephews Michael (Gina) Topski & Ted (Linda) Topski.
