

Ursula M. Labaj, RN (nee Klajn), age 58, died March 2, 2007, at her home surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle against cancer. Ursula was born March 26, 1948 in Germany, the daughter of the late Jan Klajn and the late Wladyslawa (nee: Pioro) Klajn. She is the beloved wife of Ludwik. Loving mother of Krystian and Mark. Sister of Zbignew (Lucy) Klajn. Aunt of Gabrielle (Jim) Bellman and Ann Klajn. Great Aunt to Abbey, and Avarey. Dear friend and colleague of Diane Hoffman. Ursula is also survived by many loving family members, friends and co-workers. Ursula worked as a Registered Nurse since 1968 and was a loyal employee of St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren for over 29 years. She was a leader and founder of the Parkinsons Support Group at St. Johns Macomb for 17 years, and also a Member of the Michigan Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Ursulas first love was her family and her second love was to nursing and helping others. Visitation for Ursula will be Monday from 5-9 pm, and Tuesday from 1-9 pm with an evening Rosary Service 7 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Ursula will lie in State Wednesday 9:00 am, until the time of the Funeral Mass 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Celebrating the funeral liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Memorial donations in Ursula's name are appreciated to Gilda's Club, 3517 Rochester Road/ Royal Oak, MI 48073.
