Billy was a devoted father to William Joseph Mitchell Jr. He was also a cherished brother to the late Charles Marshall Mitchell Jr. and Suzanne Marie Mitchell. Though preceded in death by many close family members, Billy’s love and memory live on through his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Billy was a proud and loyal member of the Iron Rebels Motorcycle Club. His Harley Road King, a symbol of his freedom and brotherhood, will be passed down to his son, carrying forward his legacy on the open road.
A gifted mechanic and handyman, Billy found joy in working on cars—especially his own—and could often be found elbows-deep in a project, whether under the hood or fixing up something around the house. He was never one to sit still, always starting something new.
Billy also had a deep love for classic video games. In recent years, he delighted in dusting off the old systems and reliving favorite moments from his younger days. His loyal Pitbull Staffie mix, Gracie, was never far from his side and brought him comfort and companionship.
Those who knew Billy will remember his strong spirit, loyal heart, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence was as steady as the rumble of his bike and as warm as the garage lights on late nights.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
