Addie will be remembered for her big blue eyes and her beautiful smile that lit up the room. Having mastered her signature crab crawl, she had just begun to walk. She was a constant observer with an independent spirit. She loved music, bath time, and swimming. She loved going on walks in the backpack and talking to the geese. Her dog, Benji, was her best friend, but she had many other play friends through a new mom’s group, her Rock-a-baby class, and her daycare.
Adelaide was the beloved granddaughter of Kathy and Aaron Rodgers of Albuquerque, NM; and Tom and Jean Morrell of Port Washington, WI. She is further survived by aunt Monica Rodgers, aunt & godmother Abby Morrell; uncles Robert Rodgers, and Nicholas and Zander Morrell; godfather, Kevin Allen; and cousins, Rory Rodgers and Orion Mares. She will forever be missed by her entire family.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 18th with a Mass at 11 am at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church in Warren, RI and a luncheon following in the church hall.
Special thanks to the Barrington first responders, the caring people of Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and for the outpouring of support from family, friends, colleagues, and those we just met through this tragedy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Adelaide’s name may be made to your local animal rescue shelter or Humane Society.
