Born in Warren, the daughter of the late Albano and Aldina (Caravalho) Vieira, she was a graduate of Warren High School and later took Interior Design Classes at RISD.
She was an Interior Designer and Owner of Drobyski Associates and also worked in concert with her husband’s company, Drobyski Paint and Wallcovering.
Dean was an avid bargain hunter, she had a very keen eye for both design and fashion. Over the years she had won several interior design awards and received notoriety in the New York Times for her work.
She is survived by: one son, Dr. William R. Drobyski, Jr. (Joanne) of Elm Grove, WI; one granddaughter, Lauren Drobyski of Rochester, MN; Eddie and Nancy Wujcik, who showed her continuous devotion and kindness throughout the years and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Vieira.
Visitation, Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 7:30 to 8:30 AM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
