

Zeitler, Anna F. (Raponi), 88, of Maple Avenue, Barrington, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Zeitler and loving mother of the late Steven A. Zeitler. Born in Barrington, RI on August 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Katherine (Pezzullo) Raponi. Anna worked at Crown Fastener in Warren, RI where she met her husband Alfred Zeitler. They later married and she stayed home to raise a family. She was a wonderful homemaker and exceptional cook who for years fed many friends and relatives that were always welcome. She enjoyed collecting dolls and loved to cook spaghetti and meatballs every Sunday for her grandchildren. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Campo and her husband Frank K. Campo of Bristol. She also had three loving grandchildren, Frank K. Campo, Jr., Brittney E. Campo, and Victoria M. Campo. Anna had one brother, James E. Raponi and his wife Ann and their children, Kevin, Julie, and John Raponi of Barrington. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 9am from Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home 615 Main Street Warren with a 10am Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angel’s Church Maple Ave. Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-7pm. Wilbur-Romano.com
