Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Anne was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Cooney) Ribeiro. A graduate of Pawtucket West High School, Class of 1973, she spent her life dedicated to caring for others—working as a teacher’s assistant, camp counselor, devoted caregiver to the elderly, and most recently, the Director of First Impressions at Conditioned Air in Naples, FL.
The first 50 years of Anne Marie’s life were spent in Pawtucket where she was active in Fairlawn sports for both of her children. She taught CCD classes at St. Maria Goretti Parish and was very active at Samuel Slater Jr. High School. After her 50th birthday, Anne moved to Naples, Florida, to be closer to the great friends she had there. She was also drawn there by her love of the ocean and the peace she found at the beach.
Anne Marie loved her family and friends. Her sisters were her best friends and she had cherished memories of her many cousins. She was a spirited card player who never passed up an opportunity to play Skip-Bo or Yahtzee. She never missed a milestone in her grandchildren’s lives and was a constant, supportive presence to those she loved. She had a welcoming smile and a laugh that will never be forgotten.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Anne Lambert of Block Island, RI, and her son, Michael J. Seebeck and partner Paul Nunes of Seekonk, MA. Anne Marie knew that family is not only about a blood relation. She also leaves behind Todd and Tiffany Siniscalchi, who she loved as if they were her son and daughter. The highlight of Anne Marie’s life were her grandchildren, Jared Siniscalchi, of North Providence, RI and Aliza Siniscalchi of Warwick, RI. She was also fortunate to have known and loved her great granddaughter, Ellie Grace.
Anne was the youngest of four sisters. She leaves behind her sisters: Frances Ballou of Lincoln, Dorothy Cooney and her husband Richard of Barrington, and Clare Ribeiro of Pawtucket. She will be deeply missed by her nephews, Christopher Cooney and his wife Jocelyn, Jason Ballou and his wife Karen, and Ryan Ballou.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 645 Main Street, Warren. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
