

Annette M. (Belanger) DeNinno, age 87, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 in Brookdale at Sakonnet Bay. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. DeNinno to whom she was married 60 years prior to his passing on March 10th.
Born on February 19, 1936 in Lowell, MA she was a daughter of the late Joseph and the late Helen (Levassieur) Belanger she was a longtime resident of Bristol, RI.
A 1956 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Medical Technology, she worked in all disciplines at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston, MA and then at Rhode Island Hospital in the department of oncology. At the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, she was in charge of the medical laboratory for 20 years until her retirement in 1990.
A talented artist, Annette was a photographer whose work won numerous contests including the Providence Journal and was displayed in many local stores in Bristol, Barrington, Middletown and on Cape Cod. A skilled painter, she created seascapes, landscapes and still life paintings; her work having been displayed at the Whistler House Museum in Lowell, MA.
Annette loved Christmas time, decorating her house inside and out, cooking dinners and hosting parties for family and friends. Spring and summer were also joyful times; caring for her many flower beds and garden around the house. A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Bristol she also enjoyed traveling and visiting countries all over the world.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was the sister of the late Marcelle McCormick, Therese DeNonnee, Cecile Fortier and Paul Belanger.
Her visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
