

Frank A. Martinelli III, age 66, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by loved ones. He was the devoted and loving husband of high school sweetheart Lisa M. (Martel) Martinelli, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage, partnership, and countless memories.
Born in Providence, Frank was the son of the late Frank A. Martinelli Jr. and Pasqualina (DelConte) Martinelli. He was raised in Warren, then spent over 30 years in Port St. Lucie, Florida before returning back to his forever home in Warren, Rhode Island.
Frank was the owner of the former In & Out Painting, Inc. and dedicated his life to his work as a painting and carpentry contractor before retiring in 2015. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard, 88th Army Band. A man of many talents and passions – Frank was a gifted musician, on instruments including guitar, piano, harmonica, and trumpet, many of which were self-taught. He was a guitarist and vocalist in the family band Panic Attack, fulfilling one of his lifelong dreams. Music was a deep and constant love for him.
Frank was also an avid golfer. He challenged himself on the course following the pursuit of better. He grew a passion for the sport that never left him. Frank also found joy in working with his hands beyond his profession. He was a master craftsman, whose talent and creative mind enabled him to produce whatever interest he pursued. Above all else, Frank cherished his family. While he enjoyed the company of friends and loved ones, his eight grandchildren were truly the center of his world.
In addition to his beloved wife Lisa, Frank is survived by his daughters, Erica Bourne and her husband Benjamin of Portsmouth, and Jennifer Camelio and her husband Don of Westwood, Massachusetts; his eight grandchildren, Tristan, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Lily, Jacob, Sophia, Julianna, and Alessandra; and his great-grandson, Tate. He is also survived by his siblings, Ann Lavallee of Warren, Barbara Castigliego of Coventry, Carol Martinelli of Tiverton, Diane Costa of Bristol, and Michael Martinelli of Pawtucket, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Private services are in the care of Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren.
