

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Traynor) Muldoon and had lived in Barrington for many years prior to moving to East Providence.
He was exceptionally devoted to his grandchildren and enjoyed everything that they did. He was also a fantastic chef and an avid reader. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a tendency to play jokes on friends and family alike and enjoyed a good laugh. He was very quick witted and very funny to be around.
He was a member of the Sons of Irish Kings and the American Legion in MA and VA. He was a Navy Veteran serving in Viet Nam. After his term in the Navy, he attended Bryant College and received his degree in Criminal Justice. He later opened his own business as a PI which he owned for over thirty years.
He leaves one son Seamus P. Muldoon of Harwichport, MA, one daughter Kate E. Muldoon-Giannini and her husband James and their two children Aubrey and Connor of Yorktown, VA, and one sister Kathleen Muldoon of Lincoln. He was the former spouse of Frances L. (Bardell) Muldoon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 3-6 PM in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, RI. The funeral will be private. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 9376, Framingham, MA 01701 in James’s memory.
