Joseph Lopes

Age 85 of Main Street, Warren died Wednesday September 8, 2010 at his home. He was the husband of the late Muriel C. (Cavanaugh) Lopes. Born in Warren he was a son of the late Manuel and Conceicao (Branco) Lopes. Mr. Lopes worked as an electrical technician for the FAA.

He was an army veteran of WWII and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the American Legion the VFW and the German club.

He has 5 sons: Steven, Paul, Michael, Peter and Adam Lopes, 4 daughters Elizabeth Lamonde, Marissa Lopes, Valerie Tavares and Myrna MacDougall and the late Joseph Lopes, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His Funeral with visitation and military honors will be Saturday September 11, 2010 from 8:30-10:30 am in WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main Street, Warren. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary of the Bay Church 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will be private.
