

DiSaia, Robert O., 81, of Canario Drive Warren died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved and devoted husband of Eleanor (Marcoux) DiSaia to whom he had been married for over 58 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Oresto and Eleanor (Rossi) DiSaia. He had lived in both Barrington and Bristol before moving to Warren in 2001.
He was an accomplished and lifelong Architect, graduating from Brown University and Boston Architctural Center with honors. He was a loving and cherished father and grandfather, as well as an avid golfer and eloquent writer. He was youthful and passionate in his love for life.
Besides his wife he leaves one son, Robert O. DiSaia and his wife Dianna of Barrington, three daughters Karen R. Wilkens and her husband William of Newburyport MA, Rebecca M. Shore and her husband Gary of Barrington, Susan Simoneau and her husband Kenneth of Charlestown, RI; two sisters Ethel Mangiante and Ruth Campbell both of Barrington, and six grandchildren Michael, Kristen, Jacob, Samantha, Emilie and Adam. He was the brother of the late Kenneth DiSaia.
A funeral will be held on Monday, Oct.1, 2012 at 10 AM from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Proivdence, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday morning from 9-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
