Vincenzo “Vin” Catalano, 85, a lifelong resident of Bristol passed away August 30, 2011. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Head) Catalano and son of the late Cataldo and Josephine (Telera) Catalano.
Mr. Catalano was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for over 35 years. Vin was a WW II Navy Veteran who served on the U.S.S. Cabot, earning several medals and citations. He was also a shellfisherman and vegetable gardener.
He was the father of Vincent J. Catalano and his wife Deborah, Frank P. Catalano and his wife Susan and Victoria A. Catalano; grandfather of Lisa, Jessica Ruth and Francis Michael; brother of Victoria Proto, Margaret Costa and the late Frank, Nicola and Michael Catalano.
His Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main Street, Warren followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, Main Street, Warren.
