Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Armand and Noella (Ploude) Gendreau, she was a longtime resident of Warren.
A past president of Kickimuit Village, she worked their Bingo events. Yvette served as the first woman farm team little league manager. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Parish.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Foster of Bristol, Michael Foster and his wife Sue of Buford, GA and Kenneth Foster of Bristol; two brothers, Leo and Lucien Gendreau, seven grandchildren, Daniel, James, III, Timothy, Amanda, Shayne, Derek and Steven Foster; several great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late James A. Foster, Jr. and sister of the late Armand, Paul and Edward Gendreau, Jeannine Demers, Cecile Amaral and Doris Lagasse.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 615 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private.
