On Friday, November 8, 2013, Alverta Van Dusen Lewis of Washington, DC. Devoted mother of Clarence McKenzie Lewis, III, John Van Dusen Lewis, Edward Lund Lewis, and Alan Churchill Ripley Lewis; grandmother of 11 grandchildren, great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Parish, 3001 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20016 on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Alban's Episcopal Parish.
