Amy was a very kindhearted generous soul.  She was a friend to all animals and lavished love and attention on her own pets as well as the many creatures who lived in AU Park. Amy was a proud alumna of Mount Vernon College (now part of George Washington University), a die hard Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals fan and an all-around lovely person.

I met Amy through my work at GW.  I am sorry to hear of her passing. She was a truly unique person, a sports fan, lover of animals and had a generous spirit.  Our birthdays were both in August, mine the 16th and hers the 18th! A few years we celebrated together and that was fun. I just sent a Christmas card at the beginning of December. I will miss her. My thoughts are with her family.  Kind regards,

Cousin Amy was a dear woman.  Always proud and supportive of the Christian Heurich, Sr., family, of which she was a granddaughter.  Another piece of the grand old Washington has slipped away.  May Amy rest in peace, and be remembered for her love of her family.
