On April 22, 2013, Betty, beloved wife for 40 years of the late Samuel Dalzell passed away in Potomac, Maryland. She is survived by stepdaughters Samantha McBride and Bonnie Saklad; grandson Zackery Blickenstaff; brother Robert Ellenberger; sister Pat Fricke and five nieces and nephews. Betty served for 32 years as an Administrative Assistant and Secretary to top executives of the National Association of Broadcasters. She was an ardent conservationist who loved birds, flowers and animals including her pet cats. Funeral services pending at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Nature Conservatory.
