She is also survived by her loving children, Deidre Adkins (Paul) of Bethesda, Maryland, Daniel Charles Walser, III of Bethesda, Maryland, Tracey Nugent (Jamey) of Naples, Florida, Pam Kleindienst (Steve) of Rockville, Maryland, and Melanie Reeves (Sean) of Rarotonga, Cook Islands and 11 grandchildren.
Connie was a native Washingtonian and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. She graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and attended Marjorie Webster Junior College. Connie worked for twenty-two years at Julius Garfinkel & Co. before leaving to focus on raising her five children.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saint's Church, 3 Chevy Chase Circle, Chevy Chase, Maryland.
At Connie's request, contributions in her memory may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, in support of childhood cancer and the Division of Oncology, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 300, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
