Just came across this. Deidre was home from college visiting when I met her. So sad to read of her passing... a lasting memories of the few times I saw her at her family home.

I was younger than you and admired you from afar---your friendliness and calm. RIP

Dee, I was so lucky to be your classmate in elementary school -- you were my first huge crush!  So beautiful and perfect.  Our childhood at Green Acres was magical, and I was so shocked to hear this sad news.  We did not keep up, but her great spirit is still a strong part of my childhood memory.  Gary and family, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.

Deirdre, you were a wonderful friend in my early years in the United States and you remain the only American with whom I have been head over heels in love.  Thank you for being you and rest in peace.

Dee, my friend. The world has been greatly enriched by your time here. Your artwork, your profundity, your beauty, your warm presence, your kind soul. I have thought of you often. You will be missed.

Deirdre was our lovely, warm and friendly neighbor. Always happy to sit on the stairs in front of her house and chat as you walked your dog or came home from work. She always had a smile on her face and an interesting insight on a range of issues. and she was so proud of Andrew! We will all miss her terribly.

I was fortunate enough to be Deirdre's guidance counselor at Green Mountain HS in Chester. Mature beyond her years, wonderful sense of humor, really bright and obviously from a loving family. So sorry to hear of her passing.

I was blessed to have been Deirdre's Russian teacher at Green Mountain H.S.so many years ago.  She should be writing a memorial minute for me not I for her. Such a delightfully honest free spirit with integrity from a remarkable family.  It was a pleasure to watch her grow and so sad to hear of her death.  My deepest sympathies to the Weiss family on this most painful loss.

I was fortunate to be Dee's high school English teacher. She was both an effervescent and introspective student. Vibrant and gifted, she shared her joy in life with teachers and fellow students.

Green Mountain High class of 75, she was one of our finest and wont be forgotten. Always a positive person with a smile for everybody.

Gary, Andrew, and the Weiss family - you have my deepest sympathy. My dearest friend will live in my heart forever...I miss her terribly.

Gary, Andrew, Jeffrey, David, Daniel, Amy and Joan -- I'm very sorry for your loss. I will miss her very much.
