Age 95, passed away in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh on January 13, 1921, daughter of the late Robert and Stella (Baughman) Hopkins. Beloved wife for 66 years to the late Ralph K. Patton. Preceded in death by siblings, Margaret Morrow, William Hopkins and Robert Hopkins. A 1939 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School, a model for Tony Drake Fashions, served with the US Naval Reserve WAVES program during WWII and a 1976 graduate of Oakland University. Bette was a master seamstress and a world traveler, a lover of books and a volunteer at the Carnegie Museum. She is survived by son, Geoffrey (Lucie Du); and daughter, Beverly Patton Wand (John); and five grandchildren, James and Catherine Patton and Christopher, Elizabeth and Robert Wand
