On February 17, 2012 of Chevy Chase MD after a brief illness. A lifelong Washingtonian, he was surrounded by his large loving family at the time of his passing. Julian lived a full life, and passed on at the blessed age of 92. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, and leaves behind a legacy of loving family and friends. Beloved husband of 63 years of Nancy, caring brother-in-law of Lilyan Margolius, adored father of Diane and Darryl, devoted grandfather of Kim, Julie, and David, and devoted great-grandfather of Michael and Madeline, as well as leaving a loving son-in-law Kenner Thomson and grandson-in-law Michael McGurk, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends - who are all invited to the memorial service at Joseph Gawler's Sons Chapel, on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a contribution to a charity of your choice .
