Kay Harris Kriegsman, prominent Psychologist and published Author, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her Bethesda, MD home. She was 73. She was preceded in death by her husband William Edwin Kriegsman, Sr. Kay was the devoted mother of Bill Kriegsman of Olympia, WA and Katie Kriegsman Peters of Bethesda, MD; daughter of Elizabeth Harris of Grand Junction, CO; grandmother of Kyle Kriegsman. Darby Peters, Raymond Peters, and Addy Peters; sister of John Harris of Grand Junction, CO, Richard Harris of Cotati, CA, Beth Harris of El Cerrito, CA, and Sue Harris of Grand Junction, CO; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be conducted at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada St. NW, Washington, DC on Saturday, the 23rd of July, at eleven o'clock in the morning. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Western Colorado Botanical Gardens, 641 Struthers Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
