I met Lana recently on the tennis court.  She was the sub at the top of our list.  Lana was a lady with lots of grace and charm.  Even though I didn't know her for a long time, but I could tell she was a special lady to everyone in her life.  May her family and friends cherish the wonderful memories. Lana was a longtime special friend.  We grew up together sharing our many interests,  activities and relationships.  Our many exploits included travels to Florida, Jamaica, and several wonderful vacations to Hilton Head, Island.  I will miss her.  My prayers are with her and the loved ones left behind.

We are going to miss Lana so much.  She and I went through K-12 in Whiting, Ia.  Not only did she contribute in school activities, she played the piano for Sunday School and sang in the choir.  I know she had many talents and shared them throughout her life, and everyone she met will only have glowing words to discribe her.  She and David were already looking forward to coming back to Iowa to our next class reunion.  My heart will have an empty spot from now on, but do have a peace knowing that she did not linger with pain.  Chris, Eric, Daryll and David you had one of the best woman in your lives. I am so sorry to hear of Lana's passing.,We go back a long time.She and I were room mates in Washington, D.C. in 1962 when we both graduted from United AirlinesStew School as we called it then We lived at Hunting Towers in Alexandria, VA.. She was on of the all time Sweetest People I know,I was  her maid of honor and also Chris' godnother.We have not seen each other for a long time,sadly, but I know if she were here it would be like no time had passed.To Chris and Eric and all her family and friends , Please accept my most sincere sympathy.Also on behalf of my husband Gabe...I have very fond  memories of Lana and will miss her.
