Laurie was very kind to my sisters and me when our mother died. Although she didn't really know us, she wrote a beautiful sympathy card to our family. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us. She struck me as a very caring person. I am so sorry for her family's loss.

While I haven't seen Laurie in many years, I think of her often and always will.  My heart goes out to her sisters and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

Laurie was a sorority sister at Michigan. She was not only gorgeous on the outside but also on the inside. Her energy was addictive and her brilliance incredible. I am truly sorry Laurie is no longer in our world.

Laurie was always full of energy and would always keep going.  Many times I'd meet up with her while biking uphill from Georgetown to Glover Park. She shared her many creative ideas and was always positive.  I will miss her.

I knew Laurie through the enthusiasm and energy she shared with Glover Park Village. She was an indefatigable booster and always provided a welcome burst of energy to all her endeavors.

I loved Laurie.  She was a dear friend because of her real concern for everyone. I was shocked and dismayed to learn she had died.   I had written to her several times over the last few weeks and got no answer. This wasn't Laurie. Laurie cared.  My condolences to her family.

I'm very sorry for the loss, my thoughts and prayers to the England family. I did not personally know ms. Laurie, but I can tell she was a kind caring person who will be dearly missed. May you all cherish your memories and find comfort in knowing that God also holds a firm memory of those we love.

Laurie was a wonderful lady, and I am very sorry to hear of her passing.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Laurie was a very thoughtful person and she always voiced to me her appreciation for the art I've done around Glover Park.  I will miss her...

Laurie was not known to me long, but her caring about others, her passion for art and creativity, and above all her wish to honor and continue the legacy of her beloved Uncle Dick shone through.  May her memory be a blessing.

Laurie had really come into her own -- growing herbs, decorating her place, exploring all the city had to offer and sharing her excitement with those around her. Caring, good-hearted,and bursting with ideas, she'll be missed by all who knew her.

May you be comforted by the hope of seeing your dear loved one again in paradise.

Laurie was a person with a kind and open heart.  Always remembering my birthday, constantly sharing articles and leaving gifts for me or my dog Sophie, who she renamed Snowball.  I knew through our shared religious roots how much she valued our history and practiced tzaduka every chance she could.  I was lucky enough to know her late uncle Dick and how much she loved him.  We talked of days gone by and days to look forward to. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

Laurie always sent handwritten notes and would do so in thanks for even the smallest of kindnesses. I will miss those messages and her smile. May she be at peace.

Laurie was quick witted and always finding me design related articles of interest! May she rest in eternal peace.

She was a kind and caring person and had so much to offer. She was always  striving. God Bless you Laurie.

Laurie was a kind, caring person and will be greatly missed. We will celebrate her life and her warm spirit.  She did a lot of reading and frequently shared her insights by bringing interesting articles into our office.  She was always smiling and greeted us with a glow in her eyes and her smile.
