On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, Mark Stuart Vandersluis, 51, of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Amie Vandersluis; devoted step-father of Julianna and Allison; brother of Jan, Patrick, Robert, Howard, Julie, his late brother Gregg. Mark is also survived by his father Howard J. Vandersluis, Jr, his step-mother Sandra, step-sister Jane, step-brother, Kevin and his 15 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington DC 20016 on Monday May 25, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Saint Alban's Episcopal Church, 3001 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20016 on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place following services at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia.
